Oversized Reinvented

Through a successful crowdfunding campaign called The XL Watch Project, Terranaut created a collection of oversized watches that offer a more comfortable fit – the XL 50MM.

The extra-large watch case is ergonomically curved so the weight of the watch is evenly distributed around the wrist.

The unique method of attaching the strap directly to the underside of the case makes it feel smaller to wear.

Terranaut watches are manufactured from a blend of premium materials, including aerospace-grade 316L stainless steel, top grain leather and carbon fiber.

Final assembly is completed in the United Kingdom.

It’s time for you to be noticed. Be bold and choose bigger.

Warranty

Every Terranaut watch is inspected for pressure-resistance, timekeeping, material quality and manufacturing quality before being made available for sale.

Your Terranaut watch is protected by an international guarantee, against defects in materials and workmanship, for a period of two years commencing from the original date of purchase.

This guarantee is offered in addition to your statutory rights, subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • If a component of your watch becomes defective as a result of material or workmanship quality during the period of the guarantee, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge

  • The guarantee does not cover replacement of the battery or watch strap

  • The guarantee is not applicable for damage, modifications, or the loss of any components, due to accident or misuse

  • The warranty does not cover normal wear and ageing of the watch, including abrasions or scratches upon the watch case, crystal or buckle.

  • Terranaut Watches Ltd shall not be held liable for the cost of shipping, including return shipping, and any customs charges that may be incurred

  • If you are returning your watch for repair, the Operating Manual must be included

  • The Warranty Registration Form in the Operating Manual must be completed by an authorised reseller

  • The guarantee must be valid on the date the watch is received for repair

If the watch is no longer covered by guarantee, it is likely that we will charge for a repair. However, we will provide a quotation before we begin the service.

It is unlikely that your watch will need to be serviced unless a fault has developed.

If your watch has stopped working, it may be because the battery has expired. Please ask your local jeweller to replace the battery before you decide to return the watch for repair.

The legal bases for processing your personally identifiable information

The GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 establish different reasons that an organisation may collect and process your personally identifiable information, including:

Consent

There may be occasions when we need your consent to collect and process your personally identifiable information.

With your consent, we will use your personally identifiable information, preferences and details of your transactions to communicate with you about relevant products and services that we believe may be of interest to you, including competitions, discounts, events, prize draws, promotions and special offers.

For instances where legitimate interest is our basis for processing, we will carry out an assessment to check that our interests don't outweigh your right to privacy, or that they don't materially impact your other rights, freedoms or interests.

When we wish to promote our services to new customers

We may purchase databases of business contacts to promote our services. These databases will only be purchased from credible third-party providers, which can provide an assurance of meeting their data protection obligations. We may combine these databases with data from publicly available sources, or information we hold about you, to accurise our records.

We will only contact prospects when we hold documented evidence of consent to use their personally identifiable information. Our third-party providers are required to maintain their databases to ensure that consent is up-to-date.

Whenever you give your consent for us to use your personally identifiable information, you have the right to change your mind at any time and withdraw that consent.

If you have withdrawn your consent for us to use your personally identifiable information for direct marketing, we must always comply with your request.

We will always make it convenient to unsubscribe from direct marketing communications. You are able to easily opt-out of receiving communications from us, from any channels, at any time.

If you choose not to share your personally identifiable information with us, or refuse certain contact permissions, we might not be able to provide some of the services you have requested.

In certain circumstances, we may need to use your personal data to pursue our legitimate interests in a way that can be reasonably expected in the course of running our business and which does not materially impact your rights, freedom or interests.

For instances where legitimate interest is our basis for processing, we will carry out an assessment to check that our interests don't outweigh your right to privacy, or that they don't materially impact your other rights, freedoms or interests.

Whenever we collect or process your personally identifiable information, we will only keep it for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. This is to fulfil our contractual obligations to you. However, we may need to keep your personally identifiable information longer to meet a legal requirement.

At the end of that retention period, your personally identifiable information will either be deleted completely or anonymised. We will anonymise data by aggregating it with other data so it can be used for statistical analysis without identifying you. This includes providing a take-back service, which is available free of charge and on a like-for-like basis, for instances where our products become waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). The take-back service is operated in accordance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive and is valid in EC member states and in any other countries with corresponding WEEE legislation.

The wheeled bin symbol below indicates that your watch is an electronic item produced after 13th August 2005 and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste, following recommended practice in environmental management:
